  Niko's Steak Burgers and Greek leads to be a homely little joint in the middle of a rather restaurant-populated area of Vista.
  
  Originally finding this place, I have found that I've been back three or four times. The food is always delicious, service fast, and though I've never eaten in, the area seems super clean and sanitary.
  
  The go to here and the thing I suggested is the Greek Salad with Calamari. The fish is cooked to perfection and they have a sizable amount which makes it totally worth it for such a cheap cost. They also don't skip out on the dressing or the amount of greens within.
  
  Another notable moment of ordering from Niko's was ordering on the phone. Again, placing an order of Greek Salad with Falafel, Niko's quickly responded after taking my order to update me on a change, customer service you can't beat!
  
  Planning on eating here again!

  I used to frequent this place a lot more when I worked in Vista, but now, I tend to come here when I'm looking for some comfort Greek food. Daphne's by my house isn't cutting it for me, so this place is the better option every time.
  
  My first choice is always the Gyro plate and the food is quick for take out. I can have a great meal without feeling like I'm eating unhealthy. I miss coming here often, but I'm still very much a fan.

  My colleague and I were between meetings in the area and decided to find a place for a bite to eat. We did a quick search and found Niko's before hopping into our cars to head over.
  
  Niko's is tucked in the corner of a strip mall, with a decent-sized indoor dining space, as well as an attached patio area. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the woman that we think is the owner. She welcomed us, asked if we'd been before, then started to walk us through the menu.
  
  We both decided to order the vegetarian plate and a couple of drinks. We were given drink cups, a number and were told to make ourselves comfortable while we waited for the food.
  
  The meals came out quickly, delivered by the owner herself, and we were a little stunned by the size of the meal. The vegetarian plate was packed high with a side Greek salad, rice, two dolmas, two falafel, two spanakopita slices and a pita.
  
  I tried at least a bit of everything, in the beginning, knowing that there was no way I'd clean that plate. The falafel were good - perfectly crispy on the outside, with a nice bite on the inside. There was a flavor in the chickpea mixture that I couldn't identify - a spice of some kind that was new to me. It didn't detract too much from the falafel itself, but it did make me pause to ponder the flavor with every bite.
  
  The spanakopita was also tasty, but I would've liked to have had more crisp to the dough. The corners had a nice bite to them, but everything else was a bit too soggy for my liking. The dolma were probably my favorite thing on the plate, with a very nice flavor and texture.
  
  The salad was good, and they didn't skimp on the feta cheese, which is always a win in my book. The rice was good but didn't leave much of an impression (it was filling, it was rice...really not much else to say!)
  
  In the end, we left full and happy, and ready to get to our next meeting. I definitely would come back, as the amount of food we were given is incredible when you consider the cost of the plate. I just don't know when I'll be back in this area.

  This is by far my favorite Greek place in North County!! I love in San Marcos and drive here when I'm wanting a gyro. They have the best tzakiki sauce and always make sure to give you enough. I also get the chicken gyro and the chicken always is the best, it's perfectly cooked and very well marinated. The prices are really reasonable and the portions are huge!!

  This place is a good sized restaurant, with a varied menu of greek, hamburgers, and American breakfast food. It's hard to judge on a specific thing, but I tried out the greek side of the menu. The menu is not that extensive but has the main stuff.
  
  I got the vegetarian plate, which has falafel, spanakopita, dolma, rice, salad, hummus. The falafel had a nice think crunch, but the middle was a bit soggy. The spanakopita didn't taste fresh, it was flat in nature, and the dolma was super mushy. The rice was okay, it's a thicker rice. But I did like the salad with it's good dressing.
  
  Overall, the greek food is just okay, but it's nothing special.
